CES — Tarari, Inc., the leader in deep
content inspection silicon, today announced that it is demonstrating the
industry’s first hardware-accelerated anti-virus protection for consumer
network storage at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2007. Tarari will
show an ultra high-speed solution that inspects all data at line rates that
is optimized for Marvell’s® Orion Media Vault. The Marvell Orion Media
Vault platform together with Tarari’s award-winning Content Inspection
Processor ASIC is designed to scan all data for viruses prior to being
stored onto or retrieved from Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems.
Together the joint reference solution will enable consumers to take
advantage of groundbreaking media vault platforms that allow users to
instantly access rich multimedia and data content throughout the home
without worrying about viruses spreading unchecked. Powering digital life
in the home with the industry’s first home-wide Quality of Service (QoS),
the Marvell Orion Media Vault family offers true, uninterrupted
multi-streaming performance that adds an additional layer of protection
from emerging security threats.
Tarari is demonstrating the advanced anti-virus protection for Network
Storage at Marvell’s booth at CES. The Marvell booth is located in South
Hall 3, Upper Level of the Las Vegas Convention Center, Booth 30813.
