Following thorough genetic studies on viruses taken from persons
who had died of bird flu last month have shown that the viral
infection resists Tamiflu, the best known drug so far to treat avian
flu among humans, Health Ministry spokesman Abdul-Rahman Shahin said
Saturday. At a press conference, the ministry spokesman on behalf of
Minister of Health and Population Hatem el-Gabali said there is no
